PRIVACY POLICY
The protection of your personal data is important to us. We take utmost care with your data when it is collected, processed and used during your visit to our website and when you use our services. Your data is protected in accordance with the applicable statutory provisions.
Please read and understand when we collect which data and how we use it.
Data collection and data processing of personal data
Data protection pertains your personal data. This includes information about your identity, such as your name, postal address, e-mail address or telephone number. Such data is only collected and stored if you give your consent, e.g., if you subscribe to our newsletter (GDPR Art. 6, No. 1 lit a.) or make purchases in our web store.
Use, disclosure and deletion of personal data
UNA GlitzaStein GmbH uses your personal data exclusively for the technical administration of our website and for communication with you. Personal data is processed by employees, contractual partners, and service providers commissioned by us, preferably within the EU. No other transfer to third parties takes place without your consent. Exceptions may apply if a statutory provision stipulates, for example, the disclosure of information to authorities for the purposes of averting danger or for criminal prosecution.
If data is processed in countries outside the EU, UNA GlitzaStein GmbH uses EU standard contracts, including suitable technical and organizational measures, to ensure that your personal data is processed in accordance with the European level of data protection. If you would like to inspect the specific safeguards put in place for the transfer of data to other countries, please contact us using the communication channels listed below.
For some countries outside the EU, such as Canada and Switzerland, the EU has already established a comparable level of data protection. Due to the comparable level of data protection, the transfer of data to these countries does not require any special authorization or agreement.
Stored personal data will be deleted if you revoke your consent to storage it. Please contact us at info@una-glitzastein.com or +49 30 81895867 (GDPR Art. 17). Subscribers to our newsletter can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the end of the newsletter and thus revoke their consent to the storage of their e-mail address and name.
If you wish to inspect your data stored by us (GDPR Art. 15) or correct your data (GDPR Art. 16), please contact us through the communication channels listed below.

Rights of data subjects
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights as a data subject vis-à-vis UNA GlitzaStein GmbH:
Right to information (Art. 15 GDPR): You can request information from us at any time about the data we store about you. This information concerns, among other things, the categories of data processed by us, the purposes for which we process the data, the origin of the data if we have not collected it directly from you and, if applicable, the recipients to whom we have transmitted your data.
Right to corrections (Art. 16 GDPR): You can request us to correct your data. We will take reasonable steps to continuously keep the data we store about you and process accurate, complete and up to date, based on the most recent information available to us.
Right to have your data deleted (Art. 17 GDPR): You can request us to delete your data, provided legal requirements are met. According to Art. 17 GDPR, this may be the case if
- the data is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed
- you withdraw your consent, which is the basis for all data processing, and there is no other legal basis for processing
- you object to the processing of your data and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for processing, or you object to data processing for direct marketing purposes;
- the data has been processed unlawfully, unless the processing is necessary
- to ensure compliance with a legal obligation that requires us to process your data;
- in particular with regard to statutory retention periods;
- to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR): You can demand that we restrict the processing of your data if
- you contest the accuracy of the data, for the period necessary for us to verify the accuracy of the data
- the processing is unlawful and you oppose the deletion of your data and request the restriction of its use instead
- we no longer need your data, but you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims
- you have objected to processing pending verification whether our legitimate grounds override yours.
Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR): At your request, we will transfer your data – insofar as this is technically possible – to another controller. However, you are only entitled to this right if data processing is based on your consent or is necessary to perform a contract. Instead of receiving a copy of your data, you can also ask us to transfer the data directly to another controller specified by you.
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): You can object to the processing of your data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation, provided that data processing is based on your consent or on our legitimate interests or those of a third party. In this case, we will no longer process your data. The latter does not apply if we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for data processing which override your interests or if we need your data for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
Deadlines for the fulfillment of the rights of the data subject
We generally endeavor to comply with all requests within 30 days. However, this period may be extended for reasons relating to the specific right of the data subject or the complexity of your request.
Restriction of information regarding the fulfillment of the rights of the data subject
In certain situations, we may not be able to provide you with information about all of your data due to legal requirements. If we have to refuse your request for information in such a case, we will also inform you of the reasons for the refusal.
Complaints to supervisory authorities
UNA GlitzaStein GmbH takes your concerns and rights very seriously. However, if you believe that we have not adequately addressed your complaints or concerns, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.
